Welcome to the Loring PTO!

When your family joins the Loring School community, you become a part of the Loring PTO; a community of parents, teachers and school administrators joining together to enrich the educational and social experience of our students.

Parent involvement is critical to our success and there are a number of ways to get involved. If you are interested in learning more about the different opportunities available please email our co-chairs Anne Devine and Melissa Perla.

Your child should have received their order form in their red folder.

ALL ORDERS DUE BY THIS FRIDAY - APRIL 11th!!!!

(No late orders can be accepted.)

This fundraiser makes amazing gifts! Not only should we support our exceptional Art teacher…but the kids work extra hard on this specific square each year, in hopes of seeing their masterpiece come to life!

Please consider ordering online! It is the most simple, fool-proof way to make sure we get the order right. However, if you are unable to do so, paper orders are great too! 😀

If you have any questions about how to order, please email: jessicasnoble@gmail.com.

Students may drop off donations at the Buddy Dog doghouse in the front lobby.
Most needed items include collars, non-clumping clay cat litter, Cleaning supplies (Bleach, laundry detergent, dish soap), canned dog food, chew toys for heavy chewers, and harnesses & leashes.  See above flyer for all needs.

URGENT NEED: Lunch & Recess Volunteers

4/9/2025 4:32 pm

Lunch & Recess volunteers needed for GRADES K, 2, 3, 4, & 5 TOMORROW Friday April 11 and ALL GRADES Tuesday April 15 (we currently have NO volunteers for most grades this day).  With the nicer weather, recess has moved outdoors and we really need parent volunteers to supervise!

This assistance provides much valued time for our classroom teachers to have planning time together. It's also a pawsome opportunity to see your kids and their peers during the school day.

Volunteer slots have been updated and are now open through the end of this school year.

Dates, times and training information can be found on the volunteer page of the PTO Website.  Please read through the instructions carefully and email Kerri Brien kerriapatrician@gmail.com with any questions.

To SIGN UP, please click here and make sure to "Read More" for other important details.

4th Grade Creative Enrichment: Sound Waves

4/9/2025 4:18 pm

4th graders were treated this week to the Discovery Museum’s Sound Waves enrichment program. The students learned all about sound waves and how they travel. Hands-on experiments using tuning forks, ping pong balls, metal tools with strings, Slinkys and water helped demonstrate how sound waves travel through different states of matter (solid, liquid, gas). Ask them which experiment was their favorite! Or if sound waves travel the fastest through the air, water or a solid object.

Thank you to our 4th Grade CE coordinator, Lauren Hargrove, for scheduling this program!
Your generous support of the PTO makes these programs possible.
