3rd Grade CE: People of the Dawnland

The third graders had a pawsome visitor Tuesday to talk with them about the Wampanoag People. The kids learned about Wampanoag food and water sources, clothing, shelter, and tools. Ask your third grader how the Wampanoag sweetened their food or cut down trees. See if they remember what Wampanoag means and if they can tell you the Wampanoag word for "house."
